ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification

Established in 1993, CTI Certification, authorized by the China National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) and accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), stands as China's earliest tripartite certification establishment. As early as 2002, CTI Huace Certification obtained the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System third-party certification qualification, pioneering this endeavor within the nation, offering services encompassing occupational health and safety management system certification, training, occupational health regulations assessment, and more.

Background of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System:
Originating from the evolution of OHSAS 18001, this ISO International Organization for Standardization focuses on assisting organizations worldwide in ensuring the health and safety of their workforce.

Amidst increasing globalization and international trade, stakeholders expect organizations to showcase ethical conduct across all business facets, particularly in their treatment of employees. ISO 45001 provides these organizations with an internationally recognized standard for occupational health and safety to follow. Not only does this standard offer formal system specifications for risk analysis and management, but it also outlines norms for regulatory compliance, enhancing workplace safety, and assessing occupational health and safety performance. These systematic approaches are beneficial for reducing the number of accidents, thereby mitigating commercial risks.

To meet international demands and requirements, over 50 countries and organizations, including the International Labour Organization (ILO), have participated in the development of ISO 45001. The goal is to provide organizations with a universally applicable tool that transcends industries and regions worldwide.

Key Features of the Standard:
- Purpose of the ISO 45001 management system is to provide a framework for managing occupational health risks and opportunities.
- Goal of the ISO 45001 management system is toprevent work-related injuries and health impairments while ensuring a healthy and safe workplace.
- Adopting effective prevention and protection measures to eliminate hazards and minimize ISO 45001 risks is crucial.
- Organizations can enhance their ISO 45001 performance when applying these measures through their ISO 45001 management systems.
- Timely actions to address opportunities for improving ISO 45001 performance make the management system more effective and efficient.

The ISO 45001 management system aids organizations in fulfilling legal and other regulatory requirements.

The overarching principle within the ISO 45001 standard is "prevention first," fostering an enhanced overall employee quality and compliance awareness. The integration of ISO 45001 facilitates a shift from extensive to efficient management practices within companies, significantly lowering incidents of workplace accidents, reducing enterprise costs, and diminishing property management expenses.

Achieving an occupational health and safety management system marks a significant milestone for modern enterprises.
