New Certification Updates for February:
1. The technical specification for security requirements to guard against network storms for cellular devices (TS CD-SEC) of Singapore IMDA is effective for all new cellular devices starting January 2nd, 2023, already registered devices can continue to sell in the market until the mandatory date July 1st, 2023.
2. UAE TDRA has issued an updated TDRA label for telecom equipment as below which will be monitored for devices certified from January 1st, 2023. The Mark is to be placed on the product box in a clear, readable and non-removable manner prior to being sold in the market, and displayed in retail stores.
3. TOGO ARCEP published Decision No. 226/ARCEP/DG/2022, WIFI 6E (5925-6425 MHz) is now allowed for Low Power Devices (LPD) and Short-Range Devices (SRD).
4. India TEC issued a notice on January 3rd, 2023, BIS Certificates and Test Reports issued by recognized laboratories will be accepted to fulfill TEC Safety requirements.
5. Brazil ANATEL published new Act 17087, which will replace Act 950 and come into force on December 27th, 2023. The Act updated electrical standard for telecom devices.
6. Israel MoC updated the telecom certification products exempt list.
