Transformer Overload and Short Circuit Testing
The transformer of medical electrical equipment shall protect against overheating caused by any output winding short-circuit or overload. When the transformer is overloaded or short-circuited, medical equipment still need to maintain product safety, preventing overheating and insulation failure.
